Texas and Imagination Movers

The boys and I went to Texas this past weekend to visit Craig's brother Dean and his family and to see the Imagination Movers. The Imagination Movers is the boys favorite TV show. We all had a great time! The boys and I left Friday afternoon and picked up Craig's mom Carolyn in Ringwood. We were then off to Texas. The boys did really well on the ride. They were pretty happy until we got to OKC and then they were ready to get out and get something to eat. They had their tummies full and were asleep pretty soon. They were good until about Denton, TX. Turner woke up and was wanting his bed. He kept saying Hold me. And Take a nap! Poor kid. We got to Dean and Karla's house and they were good to go for a couple more hours while they played with Dalton and Bailey. We got up Saturday and headed to the Mover concert.

Garrett was so excited he had to take a little snooze to get his energy back!

We had great seats! The movers moved up and down the aisles and mover Scott touched Turner on the head! He was in complete awe!

A very happy Turner! He loved the concert!

After the concert, we went to Dalton's touch football game. Turner had a blast. Garrett was having a good time, but did a face plant into the cement and got a huge fat lip. Poor guy didn't even put his hands out, he broke his fall with his lip and chin. They also had fun out on the field after the game! Turner loves football, and Garrett just likes wide open spaces to run in!

Uncle Dean got his old high school football helmet down for Turner to play with. He loved it!!

We headed home on Sunday. Here are some pics I took on the way home of Garrett's lip:

Jello Train

My mom bought me some new silicone cake pans. One of them was a train. Garrett carried it around for a couple of days because he thought it was pretty neat. The pan said it could also be used with jello so I thought we would give it a try. The boys helped me mix up several batches of jello jigglers. The boys love to cook, especially Garrett. You can't hardly do anything in the kitchen without his help!

Garrett thought the train was great! He wanted to play with it!

It was a lot of Jello! They had trouble eating a whole car!
