Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas. The boys have loved everything! They were so tired yesterday since we've been going strong for a week now. They finally made it to bed on time tonight, something we haven't accomplished yet this week! The boys created some excitement at our house today. Turner likes to close doors and Garrett likes to lock them. They usually do this to the bathroom door when Craig and I are in there with them. Today, Turner closed their bedroom door with Garrett in the bedroom, and Garrett locked the door. He was okay at first, but soon figured out he was locked in. He started crying a bit so I went outside to his window to talk to him and get him away from the door, just in case. Craig was trying to get the door knob off. Garrett was probably only locked in for about 10 minutes, but it was still scary not being able to get to him. Now they don't have a doorknob on their bedroom and the replacement will NOT have a lock!! And now for some Christmas pictures to enjoy!

Christmas Cookies

This weekend we made Christmas cookies with the boys. They had a great time! One of their favorite parts was using the rolling pin. They also loved eating the cookies, too! Here are a few pics. And yes, Garrett has a green sprinkle on his upper lip in many of the pictures.

Playing in the Snow

Or fone, as Garrett calls it. After we got all the snow, we let the boys go play in it. It was the first time they have played outside in the snow. They loved it. Both boys tried to pick it up and throw it at Craig and I. Luckily it was very powdery and didn't clump together at all. No snowmen or snowballs! Last night, Garrett found his Halloween costume and tried to put it on. I helped him out and he wore it for quite awhile!! He loves being a monkey!

Crazy Weather

I guess if you live in a place like Oklahoma, you expect crazy weather. I sometimes just don't expect it within 12 hours! Yesterday was sunny, and on my way home from school, the car said the temperature was 74. Today it won't hardly make it to the 30's and this is what it looks like outside my window at school.

Breakfast with Santa

We took the boys to Enid to go to Breakfast with Santa at the mall. We were in no hurry, so we missed the actual breakfast with Santa. We were a bit overwhelmed at all the people there, and were not impressed with the craft booths that were there, so we just walked around once and left. The wait for Santa had to be at least an hour long, if not more, so we skipped that as well. We did let the boys ride the little train that was at the mall, and they loved it!! Garrett giggled all the time! They rode it 3 times and would have liked to ride more. They also got Christmas tree cookies with sprinkles for dessert and we let them go into Candyopolis and pick out something. They both picked out a sucker, of course!

John Deere Green

My parents took the boys to the John Deere dealership Thursday afternoon. They had a great time! Turner laid eyes on the Gator, and he was in love! Garrett couldn't decide what he liked. He loved everything, especially the real Gators! He was disappointed that he couldn't take the tractors out of the box. In the end he was fine, because they both got to take a tractor home. We also let them sit on a real tractor that was outside.

Welcome!

I've decided to start blogging all the cute stories from the boys and sharing pics and videos through here. Here is a video of eating oreos with milk. Turner really liked to drink the milk from the glass. He was pretty neat about the whole thing. Garrett taught us how to finger paint with oreos by making oreo mush! He really enjoyed it and had oreos all the way up to his elbows!!
